What is Relicanth?

Relicanth

Relicanth is a Water/Rock type Pokemon from Gen III that appears similarly to a Coelacanth. It has brown and black rocky scales which allow it to blend among the sands beneath the waves. Among other things, its scales are capable of withstanding the pressure of the ocean water below. It also has pectoral fins which allow it to skim the sands below, scuttering around to filter feed. According to the lore, this Pokemon’s form has not changed for the last 100 years.

While most people don’t use this Pokemon, some people who do catch this Pokemon just want it for the collection. But it does have a pretty decent move set of having Water and Rock type attacks.

How to find Relicanth

This Water/Rock type Pokemon appears commonly in Poni Island especially among the Poni Wilds. But because this Pokemon is a rare Pokemon, it takes some time before someone can actually catch this Pokemon. However, if the player finds bubbling spots in the water, they can try fishing there. The bubbling spots are rare fishing spots; they have a higher chance of revealing rare Pokemon such as Carvanha and Relicanth.
