Setting Up YourYour Pokemon Global Linking (PGL) Account

PGL stands for Pokemon Global Linking System which allows players to communicate with others across the globe. When using the PGL, the player can access a variety of areas such as the Festival Plaza. Other times, players can also engage in battles with people across the globe. Or for those who are more into collecting, players can use this to trade Pokemon from other versions.

Good news is, this system is free. So, how does one register? Here are the ways players can register their PGL account.

Creating a PGL account

1. First, head to the official website. Best use either your desktop or your mobile phone to connect for easy access.
2. Check the site around and look for Register Account.
3. Once you click Register Account, add your email to verify your PGL account.
4. After entering your email, also add your personal information.
5. After finishing everything, finalize your registration and verify your email if it asks.

How to register Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon

1. Open your 3DS and then check the Main Menu.
2. Check Internet setting.
3. When you reach that part, activate your Wi-Fi detector.
4. Once it detects your Wi-Fi, confirm that you want to connect to the Wi-Fi in that area. Then, input the password for your Wi-Fi.
5. After that, open Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon and select Festival Plaza.
6. Confirm that you want to connect to the Internet. Then, it’ll ask if you want to create a Game Sync ID.
7. Create a Game Sync ID which will be displayed at the top of the screen. Don’t forget to take note of it.

Register Game Sync ID

1. Log in to PGL.
2. Cross check if your Game Sync ID is the same as the one on the screen. If there’s no error, confirm.
3. Click “agree to the terms of service”.
4. Enter your Game Sync ID and then finally complete your registration.
