Ultra Wormhole Adventure
The transition from Alola to Ultra Space does not stop from just entering the Wormhole, rather it introduces the Ultra Wormhole Adventure in the Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon Official Trailer. In Ultra Sun and Moon, it looks like Trainers get to command the previous title Mascots in a short intermission. This runs contrast to Sun and Moon where the Trainer enters the Wormhole automatically. The task is to advance from their starting point to the destination similar in manner to flight with the Eon Pokemon after summoning them with the Eon Flute in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Ultra Wormhole Adventure: Solgaleo and Lunala and not Necrozma
The first segment starts off with the Trainer mounted on Solgaleo approaching what appears to be a Wormhole connecting to the Ultra Space. This implies a similar animation, with the exemption of the Pokemon being Lunala instead for Ultra Moon players. By the time the video reaches the 10-second mark, the Trainer must pilot his Pokemon to navigate around a void. It is likely another passage, the Ultra Wormhole Adventure itself, in order to reach the Ultra Beast’s Ultra Space. This intermission ends with the Trainer entering the white portal at the end, the screen fades to white before resuming to the target location – the Ultra Space. At the moment, there is no information yet regarding the Wormhole Adventures for the other Ultra Spaces but the one in the trailer shows Nihilego’s lair.

It is also interesting to find that the Trainer rides the Legendary Pokemon and not either of Necrozma’s formes. This could either mean that these events were either prior to the capture of these Pokemon. Another implication is that they may have escaped from its grasp. Regardless of the events, these will surface on the games anticipated release.
