Appearance | Senpou Temple – Mt. Kongo |
Strategy
Battling the Armored Warrior head-on is not a good idea since his armor is impenetrable from the front. His HP will also not decrease, no matter how many times you attack.
In order to damage the Armored Warrior’s posture, you have to continue attacking him after parrying his attacks. Memorize the pattern of his moves to properly deflect them.
You will sometimes have a chance to get behind him and strike from behind.
He will unleash four consecutive attacks when growing like this. Do your best to avoid getting hit by these attacks. This is especially true for the fourth one, as it can take you out in one shot. You will have an opening to strike him from behind after he calms down.
The Armored Warrior’s lunging strike is unblockable. Be wary of when he prepares the attack, as it can deal massive damage. If you are brave enough, you can perform a Mikiri Counter to deal heavy posture damage to the mini-boss.
Before you’ve fully exhausted his Posture Gauge, move the fight to one of the open balconies or to the walls he’s destroyed. Next, strike or parry him a few times. You can finish him off by kicking him off the open ledge once you get the chance to deal the Shinobi Deathblow.
