Strategy
Emma does not give you many openings to attack, so focus on parrying her to break her Posture. Her Posture gauge breaks more easily than other enemies.
- The basic strategy is to stay close and bait her into attacking you. The battle will mostly consist of parrying and countering.
↑Prepare for Emma’s attack after striking her.
↑When Emma attacks, parry to break her Posture.
- Emma will be left wide open after you parry the last hit of her four-hit combo. Use the chance to deal heavy damage to her.
↑Emma’s four-hit combo is telegraphed by her raising her sword. Prepare to time your parries accordingly.
↑Parry each attack of the combo. Be careful of the last strike as it has different timing than the rest.
↑Emma will be stunned after you parry the last hit of the combo. Attack her to get in some damage.
- When Emma’s sword glows, she is preparing to use her quick double slash. Be careful, as she takes two steps toward you when performing the attack.
↑The moment the sword glows.
↑You can try to parry, though you’ll likely still get hit by one of the slashes.
- Emma will perform a grab when the Danger mark appears. Be sure to avoid it since it does quite a bit of damage.
↑You can spot the grab attack motion coming even before the Danger mark appears.
