Kotaro NPC Functions
- Talk to Kotaro and choose “I Hear Crying Translation.”
- Give a White Pinwheel or a Red & White Pinwheel.
How to Obtain a Taro Persimmon
Gaet a ‘Pure White Flower’ from Mt. Kongo and give it to Kotaro.
How to Obtain Anayama Store Upgrade
Collect the Red & White Pinwheel near the Shugendo Idol in Sendou Temple, Mt. Kongo. Give this item to Kotaro, then send him to Anayama.
This is possibly the best route for the players to take as Anayama will give the “Promissory Note” item once you visit him again during the last mission. This item allows Sekiro to buy items from other merchants at a discounted price.
How to Obtain 3 Lumps of Wax (Alternate Option to Store Upgrade)
Send Kotaro to the Abandoned Dungeon instead of helping Anayama. This counts as clearing Doujun’s side quest and you will obtain 3 Lumps of Wax.
