Strategy
Before you fight this mini-boss, make sure you have Divine Confetti. Use it before fighting the Schichimen Warrior to deal significant damage each strike. Evade the floating spirit balls so that your terror gauge won’t increase. The level of terror you’ll receive depends on which kind of floating ball you hit. The bigger the ball, the more terror it generates.
Dodge the huge balls by sidestepping just before they land.
You can also hide behind rocks when the Shichimen Warrior hurls a huge spirit ball at you. Once the coast is clear, rush toward him and deal damage.
The Shichimen Warrior strikes the ground with his spear, summoning a lot of floating spirit balls to increase your Fear. This is unavoidable, especially when you’re close to him.
There is a short period after the attack where he is vulnerable. Use this time to strike him.
He uses his unblockable attack whenever he grasps his sword and it starts to glow. He will then slash and it is followed by a large spirit ball.
After you take out the Shichimen Warrior’s first HP bar, he will start jumping around the battlefield and clinging to walls while continuing to summon spirits. He will also shoot a beam at you from long range. You can avoid the damage by deflecting the beam just before it hits you. From here, take the same strategy as before.
