Belladonna Strategies
Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss:
Setup your AI Battle Strategy
Target | Same Enemy |
---|---|
Tactics | Protection is Paramount |
Moves | Use moves without MP falling to 50% |
Class Strikes | Do not use Class Strikes |
Healing Items | Leave at least 5 of each items in stock |
Use Earth Elemental
Despite Belladonna’s dominating presence, she carries some weaknesses. Support magic such as Earth Saber come in handy for this fight especially when paired with offensive units like Duran, Riesz, or Kevin.
Dodge Roseslash
Get familiar with Belladonna’s Roseslash to prevent tremendous damage. The trick is to stay on one corner and then head to the opposite edge to dodge the attack. While you can’t rely on the AI to dodge it, you could possibly minimize the damage sustained if the team is spread out when the attack lands. Don’t forget to heal your allies afterward.
Stop Hexas before it connects
Like the benevodons, Belladonna can channel her own powerful skill if it connects. When you see a large area of effect appear on the field, quickly close in on the boss and whittle her down with attacks. You need to stop the gauge from filling to interrupt the attack. If left unchecked the effect can be detrimental to the party.
Watch your health
Keep your health above half. Many of Belladonna’s skills have a chance to wipe your team out if you let it fall too much.
