Darkshine Knight Strategies
Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss:
Preparation
Darkshine Knight fears light and fares poorly against it. Before the battle starts, make sure to have your team equipped with high tier gear to soften the damage. Aside from that, have light or have a support ally make use of Holy Saber to amplify the offensive unit’s damage. You can also opt to rely on holy magic to nuke the boss from afar.
Keep moving
There’s no breaks for this boss fight. Since Darkshine Knight relies on attacks and class strikes with wide area of effects, your best bet is to move out of the way at all times. Dodge and wait for the chance that the boss tires out after he shows you his attack and then quickly sneak to his back and land your light enchanted attacks or class strikes. Some of his attacks can be punished from the side but sneaking behind him is more consistent against many of his attacks.
Watch your health
Darkshine Knight’s attacks cause tons of damage and facing him with low health can be risky. Keep your eyes peeled for attacks and spend a healing item or two to maintain the party’s health to be more than half.
