Machine Golem S Strategies
Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss:
Setup your AI Battle Strategy
Target | Same Enemy |
---|---|
Tactics | Protection is Paramount |
Moves | Use moves without MP falling to 75% |
Class Strikes | Do not use class strikes |
Healing Items | Leave at least 5 of each items in stock |
There are three boss enemies in this battle so we advise you assign your AI companions to deal damage at one boss at a time.
Land Debuffs
Land multiple debuffs to the boss enemies. Debuffs can be in the form of attack decrease (Power Down), defense decrease (Protect Down), and magic & magic defense decrease (Mind Down). These debuffs can be accessed as innate abilities or consumable items.
Cast Buffs
Follow-up the debuffs with multiple buffs to your party members. Buff moves can be in the form of attack increase (Power Up), defense increase (Protect Up), and magic & magic increase (Mind Up). These buffs can be also accessed as innate abilities or consumable items.
Use Wind Elemental and Summon Magic
Use wind elemental magic or items to damage the boss from a distance. It is better to have upgraded versions of basic elemental magic.
Enchant Melee Weapon with Wind Element
If you have access to Wind Saber or Siren Claw, enchant your melee characters’ weapon with Wind element to deal more damage to the boss. Elemental weapon enchants can be acquired from Item Seeds or through items shops.
Cure Petrify
Golems tend to use Stone Cloud to inflict Petrify. If you have Charlotte, you won’t face too much problems. Another option is to bring a stash of Stardust Herb or Poto Oil.
Use Class Strikes to Deal Heavy Damage
Use Class Strikes to deal more damage to the boss enemies. If you want it to be optimal, make sure your CS covers both more than one golem. Switch among your party members to unleash multiple barrages of class strikes.
Avoid staying on one spot
You’ll want to keep moving and use your stronger class strikes. Channel them on one golem at a time until you knock it out.
Dodge the Explosion
Machine Golems cause to self destruct whenever they perish. As mentioned above, you need to retreat to a safe spot to avoid the blast.

Hmmm, you say not to use class strikes in your strategy setup, but then you have a section where how best to use them in the battle!! And how do you kill the ghost Golem S?
Hi Jamie M! What we mean is to setup your AI-controlled allies to not use class strikes during the boss battles. This is to prevent using the class strikes carelessly.
Thanks for pointing this and we’ll correct how we say it.
