Malocchio Strategies
Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss:
Setup your AI Battle Strategy
Target | Same Enemy |
---|---|
Tactics | Protection is Paramount |
Moves | Use moves without MP falling to 50% |
Class Strikes | Do not use Class Strikes |
Healing Items | Leave at least 5 of each items in stock |
Preparation
Use Saber magic to change your hardest-hitting ally’s weapon to either Earth or Fire. You can also opt to have a magic class use spells of either element.
Use Class Strikes
Malocchio relies on using spells which forces him to remain on one spot for a while. Use this opportunity to land strong class strikes to interrupt his spells. Since he doesn’t make use of common attacks often, you should be relatively free to approach him while he’s busy channeling spells.
Take out the specters
The boss’ attack, Ghoster, has him summon ghosts on the field. If you don’t knock those out, Malocchio recovers tons of health. Track down all the ghosts to prevent the boss’ stalling tactics.
Dodge Evil Rain
Evil Rain is a homing attack so you need to always move around the field to avoid it.
