Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade AP Farming Guide
Ability Points or AP are essential points you need in order to level up materias in FF 7 Remake Intergrade. The higher the level of the Materia, the greater their effects in battle.
In order to acquire AP for your chosen materia, it needs to be equipped to your characters first. The more slots you have on your weapon and armor, the more AP experience can be obtained by multiple materias.

Apart from obtaining character experience and gil, joining the Corneo Colosseum battle challenges will also reward your party additional AP.
The Corneo Colosseum will become fully unlocked also on Chapter 14.

Chapter 14: In Search of Hope Walkthrough
Unlock the AP Up Materia
Another way of increasing AP is by unlocking an AP Up Materia. This Materia can boost you AP experience by another 100%.
You need to acquire first a Pedometer Materia in Chapter 14. The Materia is located in front of Aerith’s House and near to the steel staircase.
If you read its information, it requires the wielder to walk/run by 5,000 steps. Doing so will transform the Materia into an AP Up Materia.
Clear the Game to Acquire AP Experience Boost
Finishing the game will reward you a permanent 3x AP experience boost and 2x character experience boost on your next playthrough. This is very helpful if want to max out all Materias in the game while revisiting previous chapters.
