Side Quest List

Walkthrough

1 The side quest requires you to find three missing chocobos in Sector 5 slums.

  • The first chocobo is can be found at the top of Nuts ‘n’ Bolts Hills to the north of the slums. Be prepared to take on a Rust Drake when you find the chocobo. Build up its stagger, preferably with ranged attacks from Barret before going into Punisher mode and attacking with Cloud. Feed the chocobo some greens afterward.
  • The second chocobo is in Sanctuary Way which is north of the station. Feed the chocobo some greens when you find it.
  • The last chocobo is in the Sector 6 Collapsed Expressway – Old Bypass. When you find it, you will be attacked by Varghidpolis. Bombard it with ice magic to build up its stagger gauge and unload on it until it is defeated. Feed the chocobo some greends afterward.
2 Fast travel to Chocobo Sam to claim you reward.
