Rat Problem Side Quest
The Rat Problem is a side quest unlocked in Chapter 3 – Home Sweet Slum of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade (FF7 Remake Intergrade). The quest is accomplished together with Tifa in the game.

Rat Problem Side Quest Walkthrough
| 1 | After speaking to Wymer, go to the Sector 7 Slums Item Store and speak to the owner. |

| 2 | Watch cutscene. |
| 3 | Head north to the empty lot (the area where you need to squeeze through a hole to get to). |
| 4 | Take out the Wererats. Afterwards, wait for the Doomrats to appear. They have higher health and are much formidable than the first wave. Use Fire to take them out quickly.
When you see the Doomrats encircle you, they will bind one of your allies. Switch to another character to break the bound one free. Do not hesitate to use summons if you need to as well. |
| 5 | After taking out the Doomrats, fast travel back to the item shop to get your reward. |
Rat Problem Side Quest Strategies
Use Fire Spells
Attach a Fire materia to Cloud or Tifa in order to use Fire spells against Wererats and Doomrats. This will also help accomplishing Chadley’s Battle Reports:

Use Summons
Feel free to use summons such as Chocobo Chick in battle especially when you’re dealing with Doomrat enemies. Command your summon to use Chocofire to stagger or finish off one enemy.
