Shinra Box Buster Challenges are a series of mini games in Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (FF7 Remake Intergrade) Episode INTERmission. They are similar to the Whack-a-Box mini game in the base version of FF7 Remake.

How to Unlock the Shinra Box Buster Mini Game

You can access the Shin Box Buster mini game using the training terminal found in Shinra HQ during Chapter 2: Covert Ops. Feel free to access the terminal as many times as you like to win some useful Materia in the mini game.

Mechanics

As with the Whack-a-Box mini game, the Shinra Box Buster Challenge requires you break different colored boxes found throughout a fixed course within a one-minute (1:00) time limit. Below are the boxes you found throughout the mini game, including how many points each is worth and other useful information.

Box	Details
Orange	Worth 100 points when destroyed.
Purple	Worth 200 points when destroyed. Tougher than orange boxes.
Pink Time Box	Grants +10 seconds to your remaining time.
White (Big)	Worth 1,500 points when destroyed. The toughest box in the mini game.

How to Get a High Score

Start by building up you ATB gauge by breaking the orange and purple boxes using regular attacks and long-range ninjutsu. When you have accumulated enough charges, use Abilities like Art of War and Windstorm on the large white boxes only to destroy them as fast as possible.

Rewards

Clearing Shinra Box Buster Challenge rewards you with some useful Materia for Yuffie and Sonon. Below is a list of all challenge modes, target scores, and Materia obtained for completing them.
