The Samurai Clan Armor is one of the best armor sets to obtain early in the main story. It is a direct combat-focused set that reduces incoming damage taken and increases your maximum health.

The armor set allows you to gain Resolve when taking damage, which is good for when you are still learning enemy attack patterns and timing. Note that you will want to replace this set with something better as you become more adept at dodging and parrying enemy attacks.
