Tips and Tricks: Juggernaut Mode
Juggernaut is an Adversary Mode that appeared in the patch Festive Surprise 2016. As another Adversary Mode, it also involves teams of players fighting one another. However, there’s a catch. Players are able to use Juggernauts, suits similar to the Paleto Score. This particular suit is heavily armed and can sustain heavy damage. Despite its large size and firepower, it’s also the biggest liability in the team. If the Juggernaut is destroyed then, the team loses.
Use the environment to one’s advantage
Taking cover will not only shield oneself from the Juggernaut but will allow one a chance to backdoor against the enemies. As the players move forward with their own Juggernaut, the player can take cover from the Mini-gun wielding Juggernaut and shoot down the opposition. Once the opposition is down, the player can call in their own teammates to damage the armored player.
Staying close to the Juggernaut
Staying close will not only draw the enemy’s fire away from you but will also provide proper cover. With this, the players can have the Juggernaut draw the fire while they peel away at the enemy’s opposition. Peeling would mean prioritizing which player is the biggest threat among the opposition and removing their participation in battle. In doing so, the player lightens the “pressure” on their allies while also reducing incoming damage.
Do not always rely on the vehicles.
While the vehicles can serve as good cover, the enemy can destroy it. Considering that they have a Mini-gun with infinite ammo, the vehicles can serve as temporary cover. However, it can also be one’s downfall as the vehicle can exploded and kill one in the process.
