Foster Addison Profile
Foster Addison is the human Director of Colonial Affairs for the Andromeda Initiative. She oversees all colonization logistics for the Andromeda Initiative, making sure all settlements are up and running and colonists have a place to live. She is extremely concerned for making sure Initiative outposts are safe and secure.
Foster Addison is not exactly a pleasant person, largely because of the stress of preventing the Andromeda Initiative from falling apart. In addition, as the Director of Colonial Affairs, helping colonists is basically her job. Furthermore, she will call Ryder out if they don’t do their job and make sure the colony sites they choose are safe for the settlers.
She is a less-than-pleasant person to talk to, but nearby (when you leave Nexus Operations for the first time), you will pick up the “Station Sabotage” Heleus assignment mission. When you talk to her aboard the Nexus and you bring up the relationship between her and Alec Ryder (as she calls him only as Alec) she explains that a lot of them joined the initiative because of his vision. She also notes that she is not Ryder’s mother nor was she friends with Alec Ryder. She also notes that Alec hated that she does not use his title. She states that no one’s a Pathfinder until they’ve “pathfound” something.
