Vetra Nyx Romance Guide
Vetra Nyx is a potential partner for both the male and female Ryder sibling. She has quite an interesting backstory, having a soft spot for family.
After Succesfully Establishing an Outpost on Prodromos
The chance to improve your relationship with Vetra will begin after you successfully establish an outpost on Prodromos. Head back to the Tempest and talk to Vetra in the armory, where you will catch her talking to her sister on the comm.

You’ll soon get into a conversation with her, which will lead to her saying “We’ve been failing for months, Ryder. Now that we have you, we have a chance out here.” From here, answer her with “You’re intense. I like it“.
Afterwards, you can talk to her again, which leads Ryder to ask her if she has anyone “special” in her life. She will immediatlely throw the question back at you, to which you should reply “Hopefully soon.”
After Liberating the Kett Facility on Voeld
After you’ve managed to liberate the Kett Facility in Voeld, you can speak to Vetra again, where you’ll talk about family. Among the answers, you should choose “You’re too tough for that“.
After Completing Hunting the Archon
Once you’ve finished the Main Mission Hunting the Archon, talk to Vetra again. You’ll get into some talk about her plans in the future, where among the dialogue options you can tell her is that she’s looking for someone to explore the galaxy with.

Also after completing Hunting the Archon, Vetra will invite you to go surfing at Kadara Springs. Agree and follow her to the location where you will need to race her. Before the race starts, she’ll ask you what you want if you win. From here, choose the romantic option. When the race begins, let her win (do not cheat and use your jet boosters). After the race, she’ll ask you if the feelings you both share are real, to which you should affirm. When you have the opportunity, kiss her. This will commit you to Vetra, closing all other romance options from here on.
After Completing Journey to Meridian
Talk to Vetra after completing the Main Mission Journey to Meridian. Vetra has prepared dinner for you, so be kind and watch out for when you have the option to embrace her. The romance concludes after you finally tell her that you love her.
