Game Editions
The much-awaited remake for Final Fantasy VII is due for release on March 3, 2020 on the PlayStation 4. Ahead of its anticipated launch, Square Enix has confirmed that it is now accepting pre-orders for three different editions of the game. These are the standard, deluxe, and 1st Class editions.
Standard Edition
The standard edition is for people who simply want to experience the game. It is the basic version only containing the game disk. Those who pre-order, however, will receive a bonus summon materia DLC. This will allow the player to summon the Chocobo Chick in battle.
The standard edition is priced at 59.99 USD on the Square Enix Store.
Deluxe Edition
The deluxe edition is for fans of the game who want something more than just digital satisfaction. The package includes the game’s official art book, mini soundtrack CD, and a steelbook case. In-game add-ons include bonus summon materia DLC for Carbuncle and Cactuar. The Chocobo Chick can also be obtained by pre-ordering.
The deluxe edition is priced at 79.99 USD on the Square Enix Store.
Digital versions of the standard and deluxe editions can be pre-ordered on the PlayStation Store.
1st Class Edition
The 1st Class edition is only for the most die-hard of the series’ fans. The package includes all the special add-ons found in the deluxe edition as well as an official Cloud Strife & Hardy Daytona figure from Play Arts Kai.
The 1st Class edition can only be purchased on the Square Enix Store at this time. It goes for 329.99 USD.
