What is Vanillite?
Vanillite is an Ice-type Pokemon that looks like an ice cream. It can have one of two abilities namely “Snow Warning,” and “Ice Body.” The first ability allows it to summon hail during the start of battle, while the second ability enables it to replenish HP each turn when the hail is out. It could also gain the Hidden Ability “Weak Armor” which grants it with a speed boost at the cost of lowering its defense by one stage each.
Where do you find Vanillite?
Vanillite does not appear in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon similar to Sun and Moon. However Vanillite and its evolution Vanillish can be found in all the tall grasses that cover Mount Lanakila on Ula’ula Island. When the hail is active, you can find it on a SOS battle.
If you proceed to the depths of Mount Lanakila, the site where Necrozma appears, it is possible to find Vanillish and Vanilluxe on a SOS battle.
