Repel Zehnoa pushes enemies back. It usually combines repel with trap attacks to hold enemies down.
First Trap Zehnoa lays traps to cover its face. Often paired with repel.
Second Trap Zehnoa places traps behind or around the area.
Blaze Wall Zehnoa hits a small section of the area with fire elemental magic.
Mini Zehnoa lays a curse that makes enemies smaller.
Fireball + Zehnoa releases a large burning ball on its enemy.

Zehnoa Strategy

Here is a breakdown of the battle strategy against the boss. Barely anything has changed besides the fact that you need to time your dodges well on the small boss area.

Switch your gear to Water element

Unless you have Water Saber, you can opt to have your offensive units wield water element item or weapon like Dragon Fangs or Poseidon Claws respectively.

Stay on the boss’ side

The boss likes to use repel to force your party to land on traps. A good way around it is to head to its side.

Use Class Strikes

Combine the water element weapon or Water Saber with your hardest-hitting character’s class strikes.

Check the markers and dodge them

Aside from traps, Zehnoa also relies on fire attribute magic. You’ll find markings covering the area right before its attack lands. When you see the marks, move out of the way and also keep in mind to not trigger the traps while dodging.
