One of the bugs and issues mentioned from the players is the sudden lockdown of strike map – Trials of the Nine. Trials of the Nine recently came out as one of the new multiplayer strikes as it is only out for a limited time.

Another one of the bugs and issues is the Clan XP. Players mentioned thay there are times they don’t get Clan Engrams or Clan XP after finishing a Clan Mission. However, Bungie notes that players cannot earn a Clan Engram if they keep jumping clans in short periods of time.

Another is when players buy silver. Apparently, one of the bigger bugs and issues here is that buying silver requires real money. And if it sends a message “query failed” then, it will send you into a panic.

How to fix those Bugs and Issues

When dealing with those bugs and issues, players can opt to “remedy” it for a short while. One of the basic steps includes clearing the cache of Destiny 2 before rebooting.

Cleaning the Cache: PS4

  1. On the controller, look for the “Playstation” button.
  2. Hold down the button and it’ll take you to the main menu to the PS4.
  3. Then, turn it off.
  4. Wait for 10~20 seconds before turning it on.

Cleaning the Cache: Computer

  1. Look for “command prompt” or press Windows + X.
  2. Next, click: command prompt (admin).
  3. Next enter the code: ipconfig/flushdns .
  4. There, it should say that “Windows has successfully cleared DNS”.
  5. After that, enter Control Panel. Then look for “Free Up Space by deleting Unnecessary Files”.
  6. Then, follow the prompt by clearing out drive C:.
  7. After that, restart and then run Destiny 2 again.

However, if these still do not fix your bugs and issues, you can try sending a ticket to Bungie to have them fix your problem. But Bungie intends to address these with a server maintenance. The game will be down for the next 5 hours.
