Destiny 2 - Hastilude Sparrow: Exotic Sparrow

The Hastilude Sparrow is one of three exotic sparrows that you can win in-game through engrams. This specific sparrow can autoreload your weaponry.

“Two words. Sparrow jousting.”– Marcus Ren

“Two words. Why not?” – Amanda Holliday

With golden lances on its sides, the Hastilude Sparrow is arguably the best looking Sparrow you can obtain in-game.  It has one special power that will make your Destiny 2 experience a lot easier. The vehicle is sleek black with two lances welded to both sides. The game descriptions do not say if these are effective in combat, sadly, and are just for aesthetics.

Speed

The Hastilude sparrow is equal to the Dinas Emrys exotic sparrow in, speed, but differing in perks.  While the Dinas Emrys sparrow is a faster getaway vehicle due to its shorter summoning regen, the Hastilude Sparrow makes up for its normal summoning time by reloading your weapons on the fly. This Autoloader sparrow mod reloads all your weapons by simply riding the vehicle. You will need this in the heat of a massive battle and moving from arena to arena! While not necessarily making things easier, this small feature can help you to prepare for upcoming battles. The vehicle prevents you from killed because you had to reload in the field. Along with the Autoloader, the Hastilude has a Custom Drive Sparrow Engine, which provides the best possible performance for an NLS drive.

Basically, you’d go really fast.

Obtaining the Hastilude

Respect the grind. The grind is your friend. You will have to work your back in Destiny 2 by farming engrams. The Hastilude Sparrow, as with other Destiny 2 exotics, can only be procured through exotic engrams. The game will reward you with exotic engrams through various means. In order to farm exotic engrams, therefore, you will have to do three activities consistently: Nightfall StrikesPublic Events, and Crucible Matches. Nightfall Strikes are harder Strike Missions that will reward you with greater loot. Public events will also reward you with lots of loot, provided that you participate (and win). Crucible matches are also good avenues of looting, but you have to be incredibly skilled already to win in the arena. For more information on how to farm, come check out our farming engrams guide here.
