Skull of Dire Ahamkara

The Skull of Dire Ahamkara is a helmet that carries over from the original Destiny. In the first Destiny, this helmet could be obtained through random loot drops or purchased from the vendor, Xur. It required the Taken King Expansion. In Destiny 2, it comes with the base game.  In both games, this is a warlock helmet made out of a dragon-like reptilian. This skull helmet should be worn by Voidwalkers for maximum effect since the only perks it has are geared for that specific class.

Stats of Skull of Dire Ahamkara

This helmet has some significant perks. The first is Actual Grandeur. This perk provides additional damage resistance when you perform the Nova Bomb. When you kill via nova bomb, the deaths grant you Super energy. Meanwhile, Mobility Enhancement Mods increase your mobility–an important augmentation when you are in combat in the crucible. Finally, Restorative Mods  increase your health’s recovery, which will be important when you get hit too much.

How to Obtain the Skull of Dire Ahamkara

You can find this helmet solely through Exotic Engrams, which you can find throughout your adventures in Destiny 2. However, you are not guaranteed to win this. Even if you have an exotic engram at your disposal, you are at the mercy of the RNG. For this reason you should learn to farm exotic engrams. At least until the skull could be found in in-game stores. With the recent arrival of Xur, you might obtain this helmet from him somewhere in the future.
