As Final Fantasy 7 Remake’s April 10th release draws ever closer, Square Enix continues its behind-the-scenes video series called Inside Final Fantasy 7 Remake. For Episode 2, producer Yoshinori Kitase and the development team talk about the remake’s story and characters.

The team shares their ideas on expanding the player’s experience in the iconic city, fleshing out each character’s known backstories, and adding new elements to entice both veterans and the uninitiated to the game.
