Dark Type Pokemon

Dark Type Pokemon only appeared in the second generation in Johto. Absol and Umbreon at that time being the only Dark Type pokemon. In Johto Karen is a trainer that specialized with Dark Type pokemon. However in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon Island Kahuna Nanu of Ula’ula Island represents the trainer specializing with Dark Type pokemon.

Battle Properties

Like any other pokemon Dark Type have an advantage over certain types. For example Normal Type pokemon cannot damage Dark Type Pokemon. Dark Type Pokemon cannot also receive damage from Fighting type pokemon. However they did take extra damage from Dark types and other fellow Dark Type Pokemon. 1. I noticed that there were several Pokemon here that are not Dark type, Being Froslass, Rotom, and Shedinja. Froslass is an Ice/Ghost type, Rotom is an Electric/Ghost type that can change to Electric/Fire, Electric/Ice, Electric/Water, Electric/Grass, and Electric/Flying, and Shedinja is a Bug/Ghost type.
