Jarun Tann Profile
Jarun Tann, or better known as Director Tann is an egotistical salarian politician who was the Deputy Assistant of Revenue Management for the Nexus. He is also the current Director of the Andromeda Initiative. He battles between his desire to keep villainy at bay and to cultivate his own influential power. Such conflicting goals naturally make him a character with a lot of elements to constantly juggle, a situation that leads him to overplay his own importance.
Director Tann is a being that values himself more than others (self-important), likes power and being in a position of authority and thinks of himself as a big deal. Kesh likes to call him “Number Eight,” as a reminder that he is eighth in line of being in charge of the whole Andromeda Initiative. She claims that it keeps him humble. He views the krogan as dangerous brutes that should never have been allowed into the Initiative.
Tann is actually quite insecure, but he masks it with arrogance. Tann is arrogant and unwilling to risk forfeiting his authority. However, his heart is in the right place. After most of the Initiative leadership were killed prior to the events of the game, leadership fell to Tann.
