Phosphorus MG4 SMG is a legendary SMG (Sub-Machine Gun) that appears in Destiny 2. As a Sub Machine Gun, the Phosphorus MG4 is made more for close ranged combat. This weapon works best with players who dive into combat more often then not. This weapon requires players to be “ballsy”, meaning they have to be willing to dive into the fray. Players also have several perks while wielding this gun such as the Lightweight Frame which allows players to move faster while wielding the SMG.

Stats for Phosphorus MG4 SMG

Phosphorus MG4 SMG makes it debut in the beta but also appears in-game as a legendary weapon. This SMG has the Lightweight Frame perk which allows players to move around quickly, making it perfect for roamers. When using this gun, players can opt to either go for increased handling or increased range. However, most players would go for the increased handling for better skirmishing capacity. The Alloy Magazine decreases reload speed, making it easier for the player to deliver decisive blows when unloading a full clip.

How to obtain the Phosphorus MG4 SMG

The Phosphorus MG4 appears for now only as a drop. The drop usually comes from the Crucible or for better drops, the Nightfall Strikes. The drop rate however for this particular weapon can be quite low due to its rarity. Also take note that the engram required must be of Legendary status. These particular engrams only drop during Strikes or Crucibles. However, there may be some story modes that drop this particular engram for this particular gun.
