Move Tutor

The Move Tutor is an NPC players find in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon in various areas. Each Move Tutor however special requirements such as the Pokemon being taught being in a basic stage and the sort. Others need a form of payment such as a Heart Scale. Some moves can also be taught when the player exchanges BP (Battle Points) in certain areas. They just need to approach the Move Tutor in the area to figure out which move they want.

Free Move Tutors

The Move Tutors that fall under this category don’t charge anything. However, some of them may have requirements. For example, one Move Tutor may require the starter Pokemon to be in the first stage to learn moves such as Fire Pledge, Water Pledge, and Grass Pledge. Another Move Tutor may need the Pokemon in its final stage to learn more advanced moves.

Battle Point Move Tutors

These are the Move Tutors who require Battle Points to teach moves to the player’s Pokemon. Farming Battle Points isn’t hard really as long as you follow a certain pattern.
