Rat King Sidearm
The Rat King sidearm is a pistol (not a hand cannon) with an ornate steel carving of rats along its barrel. This weapon can be equipped by all classes.

The Rat King sidearm / pistol has a couple of really great perks: Rat Pack, its intrinsic, allows this pistol’s strength to stack when nearby allies are also using the weapon. It stacks up to 6 times. Next, Smallbore increases the range and stability of the pistol. Tactical Mag increases stability, reload speed, and magazine size. Meanwhile Vermin gives you to turn invisible after reloading immediately after a kill. Finally, smooth grip increases stability and handling speed.
How to Obtain the Rat King
First, complete the campaign / story missions and reach Level 20. You’ll have to head to Titan and complete the Enemy of My Enemy quest. By doing so you’ll gain access to the Rat King’s Crew quest.
The Rat King’s Crew will not be an easy quest. You’ll need a fireteam to finish it. Upon starting the quest, you are prompted to complete 3 Patrol Missions, 2 Public Events, 2 Crucible matches / Strikes, and the Nightfall Strike with at least 5 minutes left on the timer. This last part is very crucial for you to win the Rat King. Once you’ve completed this, you will be able to enjoy blasting enemies with the Rat King Sidearm. Enjoy blowing enemies away!
