Vigilance Wing Rifle

The Vigilance Wing pulse rifle is an interesting weapon, granting the player enhanced movement speed and health regeneration when a nearby Guardian ally is killed. It also improves the performance of a player’s weapon when he or she is the last surviving member of the Fireteam. Because of this, it is more oriented for PvP (particularly in tight or funneling spaces such corridors or hallways) rather than PvE. It has a Kinetic weapon slot.

In addition to providing very useful buffs to the player when allies within the area are killed, the Harsh Truths perk also allows the weapon to fire 5-round burst shots. The Vigilance Wing has very good stability and range, performing well a fair distances. It also enjoys a high rate of fire, only being slightly lower than the Lincoln Green pulse rifle.

Players can opt for faster reload with the weapon using the Alloy Magazine, or improve the range, stability and handling speed with the Corkscrew Rifling (sigh/barrel). The last two stats can be further improved by using the Composite Stock.

Owing to the Vigilance Wing having burst fire characteristics (as well as being a Kinetic weapon), it is especially effective against unshielded enemies. This will allow you to take them out very quickly from close-range.

How to Obtain the Vigilance Wing Rifle

Farming exotic engrams in Quests, Heroic Public Events, PvE and PvP is the currently known way to obtain the rifle.
