Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon - Z-Move Effects and List in Generation VII: Guide

 What is a Z-Move?

  • Z-Move is a powerful move that can only be used once in a battle. All Pokemon are eligible to use a Z-move unlike mega evolution.
  • In order to put a Z-move on a Pokemon, the Pokemon is required to know the specific move for the Z-move. Use the corresponding Z-Crystal with a compatible Pokemon to give it a Z-move.
  • Some Pokemon have their own exclusive Z-Move such as Pikachu and Snorlax.

How to use Z-crystals

  1. Select a Z-Crystal from your bag.
  2. Highlight the Z-Crystal and select Use/Put on.
  3. Select the Pokemon to give the Z-Crystal and pick the corresponding move that is compatible with it.

How to use Z-Move in battle

  1. In a fight, click fight at at the right side of the screen.
  2. Click the “Z Power” on the left side.
  3. pick the glowing Z-move icon at the bottom and pick the corresponding move.

 Grass  Bloom Doom Bloom Doom is a damage-dealing grass type move. The damage varies depending on the move.
