Main Mission Walkthrough – Keys to the Kingdom
This mission overlaps with other missions like “Restore from Backup” and “Before I Give You the Key.”
Objective 1 – Fabricate your Key
This objective can be done once you have the plans. To get the plans in Deep Storage, you have to enter the central repository and obtain the hard drive (See: restore from backup). The arming key can be crafted via any fabricator as long as you have one mineral material. Loot some junk off enemies and corpses, throw a recycler charge into a room to gather enough materials. You can easily do this part in the command center in Deep Storage.
Objective 2 – Get Alex’s Arming Key
This objective can be done in “The Repo Man“. Head into Alex’s office and look for a deceptive wall switch (shown on your marker. Alex agrees to hand the arming key over to you just as a gigantic typhon attacks the Talos-1 exterior.
Zap Alex with a disruptor gun and take his arming key from him. Pull him close so that he won’t drift away.
Objective 3 – Go hear Alex out in his office
This objective can be completed in “Before I Give You the Key”.
Alex says that he would give Morgan his Arming Key, and told Morgan to meet him at his office. Sadly, Alex was not there. Watch the video Alex gives you on his terminal to complete this objective.
