Mimic Matter Ability Guide
Background
Obtained by using a psychoscope on mimics, this lets Morgan Yu transform into everyday objects. Not all objects can be mimicked. However, Prey provides an ample range of absurd items one can use to maneuver around.
Here are some things that you can transform into using this ability, according to Games Radar:
- Explosive canister
- Medical Skull Display
- Set of towels
- Can of Jellied Eels
- A Stop Sign
- Tiny Bin
- O2 Canister
- A Working Turret
- Intestines
- Medical equipment
- Stuff in a jar
How to Obtain
Head on over to psychotronics once you get the General Access Keycard. Underneath the Men’s preparation room is a hole. You’ll find the psychoscope on a corpse nearby, which is fortunate since a bunch of mimics will be lurking down there. Freeze them in place with GLOO and then use the psychoscope. Depending on what chipset you get, this will take a while, so steel yourself from enemy attacks and keep an eye on the mimic. Scan a mimic twice to get mimic matter.
