Operator Enemy Profile
The Operators are Talos-1’s maintenance and security personnel. They took on the tedious jobs for the TranStar employees aboard the ship. They were doctors, engineers, scientists, and secretaries for the company.
With the recent outbreak of Typhon, they have succumbed to the chaos around them. However, with a neuromod like the machine mind, a skillful user like Morgan can manipulate these robots to attend to their every whim.
However, these operators are not invulnerable to the weaver’s malevolent antics. The technopath is an amalgamation of two operators fused together by typhonic substance, for example.
Strategy
Operators are weak to electric, EMP, Explosive, GLOO, Melee, and Recycler charges. This means that there’s a wide variety of methods to take out operators.
Being machines, electric attacks are best when dealing with corrupted operators. With an EMP charge, you can easily down an opponent, allowing you to strike with your wrench until it dies. Warning: the Operators do explode.
Operators should be looted for the significant quality of drops they provide. Engineer operators provide Q-Beam cells and spare parts (with dismantle), while science operators have PSI hypos.
