Main Mission – Immortal Flame Walkthrough

After the cutscene plays to reveal a burning temple, the Immortal Flame mission begins. First, head forward and pray to the Shrine. Adjust your stats in the shrine and check up all your gear. This time, you’ll be navigating through the ruins of the torched castle.
Upon entering, head left around the shrine. Follow the fiery path and make your way towards the large doorway. The path ahead has a wall of fire so, head around the wall. Once you do, there’s going to be a Yokai nearby. Take it out and head right past the wall. When you get there, you’ll see a soldier. Take him out and continue past him. Hang left when you do so.
Dash through the flames but only if you’re confident enough in your HP. Hang left and you’ll spot the courtyard. In that area, there’s a structure and a soldier. Head up the steps into the structure. Hang right and proceed into the next area. There’ll be some steps to head up to along with a soldier. When you get to the top, hang left. Hug the wall before making a right down the path. There should be a few barrels there.
Continue making through the area until you spot a few skeletons. There are some Skeleton Soldiers and Skeleton Warriors. Hack through them before looting up the corpses for some Amrita. When you’re done, head out through the doorway at the end. Turn left around the fencing and you’ll spot a Shrine towards the corner.
From the shrine, head right and enter the last house on the left. Before you head in, watch out for the Dweller Mob. After you’re done, head up the stairs in the room. Go left down the hallway before making your way out the door. Hang left and you’ll spot a structure. Keep glued to the left side before noticing a walled path. There, you’ll spot a Wheel Monk. Slaughter it and turn left at the end of the path. Then, head right down the next path. Follow it until you reach the Shrine on the right. Heal up and continue along the path with the Skeleton Warrior. Hang right and proceed on with the path.
When you get there, there’s a fire wall. However, there’s a large opening there. But before you take it, take note: there’s a Yokai there. Nonetheless, kill it and proceed. Turn right and you’ll find a ladder. Climb up and head left. Drop down into the next area. When you get there, kill the warriors and continue on. You’ll also find a door on the far left side of the wall ahead. Unbar it and make yourself a shortcut. Turn around from the door before heading forward. You’ll spot double doors. Open it and it’ll lead you into the structure on your right.
With that, head inside. Follow the hallway to your right before making a left around the corner. When you get there, smash the wall on your left. You’ll enter a room and then break another wall straight ahead. However, there are warriors in there. Defeat them before proceeding down the hallway. If you make a right, there’s a Yokai in the adjacent room. Kill it before breaking the w all here before making a left to get out of the room.
Continue on through the hallway before you spot some stairs. Make a left here. When you get to the top, turn right before opening the double sliding doors on your right. Snipe out the warriors before revealing the Yokai from the Shadow Realm. Kill it and open the double sliding doors. Then, head right up the stairs and right at the top. When you get to the top, you’ll find some double sliding doors again.
Open the double sliding doors on your right to face the mission’s Boss.
Boss Fight – Saika Magoichi
Saika Magoichi is an omyouji with his own Guardian Spirit protecting him. You face him in a roaring sea of fire where he says you’ll have to die. He’s one of the other human-sized opponents you have to fight. What makes him more terrifying is that he can fly and shoot fire plumes from his wings. It’ll take a lot of dodging and defending to defeat him.
