Bloodshed’s End DLC
“And so, even the bloody tale of the samurai must come to an end…
The curtain closes finally when at Bloodshed’s End…”
Bloodshed’s End is a DLC for the year old game Japanese Dark Soulesque game, Nioh. It marks itself as the final chapter; the final curtain call for William. After the release of Defiant Honor, Bloodshed’s End marks the bloody end of the Sengoku Era. With Osaka Castle’s main fortress left completely undefended, a war broke out with blood watering the fields and the grass lapping every ounce of it.
What’s in Bloodshed’s End?
While there are new Side Missions, Main Missions, and Twilight Missions, Nioh presents a new mode known as The Abyss. Similar to Devil May Cry 2 and 3’s Bloody Palace, William must fight through the hellish abyss of yokai pouring out of Yomi, Land of the Gloom. New Yokai of different variants will emerge from the Land of the Gloom with their claws begging to dig into your flesh. But fear not, Guardian Spirits will still aid you on your quest. They will not abandon you in your time of need.
In order to access this last blood-stained DLC, players must secure a Nioh Season Pass or buy the DLC for $26.99. For the last chapter, we can only hope that slaying countless of yokai has sharpened your sword. Your mind must be sharp; your spirit unyielding and unbowed. Live now and don’t falter; for one mistake will seal your fate on Bloodshed’s End on September 29, 2017.
