Shima Sakon Boss Guide
Fighting Shima Sakon requires you to constantly evade. Using the High Stance for Spear, he leaves himself open to attack. In doing so, you can close the distance between him and you. As a spear wielder, he cannot fight in close quarter combat. He’ll slam down his spear which takes him time to recover from.
Dodge around and close the distance between you two. Also, try to find obstacles that can trap him in the field. His swing’s wide so try to stay close to not take the full damage of his attacks.
Shima Sakon also has something similar to Living Weapon. When he has his spear glowing, make sure you don’t get hit. One can take a lot of damage from one strike. Keep moving and use the hit and run strategy. Close in when you know you have enough Ki to sustain the contact before moving away.
After defeating him, you’ll find yourself in another cutscene. Shima Sakon acknowledges his defeat and you learn about his life story.
You are retarded if you think Shima Sakon “can’t fight in close combat”.
