The Sub Mission Finders, Keepers requires you to retrieve a valuable sword for your client. The sword has been stolen by a mischievous Yokai called Kappa, so you’ll need to track them down and kill them in the caves.
This Sub Mission is also good for farming Amrita, gold and equipment early on in the game. You can also check out our guide on how to get more gold from selling equipment.
As soon as the Sub Mission begins, scour the cave and look for the Kappa (a Yokai with gold crystals on its back that likes to hoard treasure). Be wary of the Kappa’s spinning attack as it is quite damaging. Usually though, the Kappa will turn tail and run for its life when it sees you, so chase it and take it out.
If you want, you can also kill off the other Yokai and some bandits lurking in the far end of the area for more Amrita, Gold and loot. However, your only target is the Kappa that has the sword that you need to retrieve.
After retrieving the sword, you can take the time to check out the area for some more loot. You can proceed to your left along an alcove to find a corpse with Scout Armor Mengu, as well as some Salt. Up the path that winds along on the left is another corpse that has Small Spirit Stone. Then, you can proceed towards the path leading to an overlook of the next cave area below. There will be a path than you can drop down from here which you can follow. It leads you to some bandits and a large chest with Warlord Armor: Hizayoroi, Archer Garb: Robe, Longbow and Fire Amulet.
Return to the top and follow the other path. It goes into a cave with another chest containing Medicine Case and Shinobi Box. You can also check the area caved-in part to find a ladder that goes down. There will be a corpse there that you can get Warlord Armor: Kote, and a Spirit Stone. Even lower down the cave, you will find another corpse that has Archer Garb: Kote.
