Nioh and Nioh 2 (including all DLCs) are also bundled in the Nioh Collection on PS5.
Unwanted equipment can typically be sold at the Blacksmith for Gold, or offered at the shrine for Amrita. This is one method for farming the two most important currencies in the game. Though there is a better way to earn gold than just selling the equipment directly at the blacksmith.
Selling Equipment for More Gold
To earn more gold from selling your extra or unwanted weapons and armor, you should first disassemble them to break them down to their raw material constituents. This will earn you more gold than just by selling the gear as itself.
A piece of purple gear may usually sell for around 850 Gold. If you disassemble it, you should get 3 purple crafting materials and 2 spirit chunks. Each of the individual purple materials can sell around 1100 Gold for a total of 3300 Gold (not factoring in the cost of the spirit chunks). This is somewhere around 4x the Gold gained if you sold the gear without disassembling it.
In addition to selling each crafting material for more gold, you can use some of the materials to create better quality materials and gear. This will allow you to get very strong weapons and armor fairly early in the game.
