Twilight Mission – Foreboding Seas Walkthrough [Nioh]

Go around until you reach a ladder. Climb to a roof, then head to the left. Make your way around the roofs where you will encounter several Yokai, including a Yoki, a Skeleton and a Wheelmonk. Jump down the area below the Wheelmonk, then run back up to the next roof using the ramp. Continue on until you reach a dead man; make a right and do a jumping attack to the ground level in order to hit the Lesser Umi-bozu waiting below.

Make a left turn at the intersection, but another Lesser Umi-bozu will fall from the ceiling of the walkway. You will end up at a room at the end of the walkway You will end up at a room at the end of the walkway. If you haven’t defeated the Lesser Umi-bozu yet, it’s best to engage them in this room so you’ll have more room to maneuver around them and attack them from different angles. Loot the items from the opponents once they’re down.

Open the door to the next area, which leads to a wide corridor. Defeat the Yoki standing here, and if you want, you can challenge the revenant in the Bloody Grave in the area as well. Interact with the brazier in the area to light it up, then head up. Open the first door on your right. Take out the Skeleton that will attack you as you are entering the door, then loot the chest in the corner to get items like Youngblood Armor and Frontline Warrior’s Armor (Suneate).

Exit the room and cross over to the other side of the wide corridor. Enter the bend in the corridor just in front of the brazier you lit before, then turn left again. Press O at the wide wall to your right to remove the talisman and gain access to the central area. Take out the Skeleton Warriors near the entrance, then make your way to the raised platform in the middle. Lesser Umi-bozu will leap out of the holes of the floor if you get too close.

Cross over the raised platform; you will see a second platform a little way away guarded by a Yoki. Go there, defeat the Yoki and get the items it will drop.

The next door has a Yokai gate, but before you can enter it, a One-eyed Oni will materialize. His attacks will consist mostly of a two-fist smash, or punches. Move in a bit to bait him in, then pull away as he attacks. Hit him as he is reloading his attack. Beating the One-eyed Oni will net you a Demon’s Horn, a Bowman’s armor (Joi), a Himorogi Branch, a Genji Armor (Hizayoroi), a Hachiyashu Kusarigama, among others.

Once the big guy is done, it’s time to take on the boss of Foreboding Seas: the Umi-Bozu. If you need to make improvements on your equipment, you can do so at a shrine some distance away, but be warned that you will encounter a lot of Yokai getting there. Otherwise, open the double doors ahead of you to get on with the boss fight.

Go back to the first raised platform, then make your way towards the right side of the central area until you find a large ramp. Go around the roof area until you find a Skeleton Warrior near a break in the roof tiles. Below the break is a Shrine. Drop down and make some offerings to snag some upgrades to your gear.
