Origins
Hessian Lobo is a combination of two tales: the story of Lobo the Gray wolf and Hessian, a German mercenary.
Lobo is known as the King of Currumpaw in Mexico. He rampaged across the Currumpaw plains, killing 2000 Cattle and 250 sheep in 5 nights. His viciousness knew no bounds as he continued on. Farmers tried all sorts of methods to bring down Lobo. They tried traps, poisons, and all sorts of things. Nothing brought Lobo down. However, a hunter named Seton tricked Lobo using the corpse of Lobo’s mate, Bianca. Tricked, the captured Lobo refused to eat and died of starvation.
Hessian on the other hand belonged to several German mercenaries. A nameless mercenary said to mount Lobo had his head blown off. Because he had no clue that his head been blown off, he continued to roam the lands. Particularly, in Sleepy Hollow.
