Origins
Queen Medb is a woman whose body can make a man lose all common sense.
Gifted with a goddess-like body, Medb used it to her advantage. She used affairs to further herself in life. Many of her lovers were kings and warriors. All of this in hopes of bringing down the one man who defied her – Cu Chulainn. As the Queen of Connacht, she stood as an enemy of Ulster.
Pure and tidy, lewd and devious – these four traits mark the core of Queen Medb’s character. She loves men but loves strong men more. As the true owner of Caladbolg, she then gifted the sword to her other lover – Fergus. Despite her being a woman of carnal desire, she keeps many of the men she took as her lovers alive. However, she’s not only into carnal desires. She also loves treasures. Because of this, Medb triggered a war with all of Ulster as her enemy. While all the men fell to her charms, Cu Chulainn stood against her and defeated her. After defeating her, he retook back the mighty Bull of Ulster.
While Medb still lived, she would take in the genetic make-up of all the soldiers she turned her lovers. Each drop of her blood would then create a soldier in the perfect way she wanted. Nameless but completely subjugated to her will.
