Strategy

  • Enkidu is a defensive-type servant, focusing more on debuffs. He is also capable of healing his own HP which increases his sustainability in battle.
  • Enkidu also has the special ability of Transfiguration which allows him to bolster his Buster card performance. However, the terrifying part of his ability is that the skill buffs a particular card (Quick or Arts) at random.
    • Considering that Enkidu is a Quick Cards Servant, he performs well with other servants who are capable of gathering critical stars.
  • Servants that may work well with him are servants that are capable of gathering critical stars. Servants such as Jing Ke, Hassan of the Cursed Arm, Scathach, and Sasaki Koujiro can help in connecting and creating Quick Card Chains.
  • For Enkidu, focus on enhancing Consumated Shape as it will increase the recovery rate whenever he uses the attack.

Origins

Enkidu is one of the oldest heroes, created by the gods. Because the gods felt that Gilgamesh was lonely, they insisted in making a partner. They spat into clay and moulded it into a figure.

That figure then became Enkidu.

Initially, Enkidu had no form at all. But after coming across humans, Enkidu decided to make that his basic shape. When he began making his way around, he soon came across Gilgamesh. The two exchanged fierce blows until realizing they were equals. With this, Enkidu and Gilgamesh became inseparable.

However, this all came to an end when Gilgamesh spurned Ishtar’s love. Thus, she demanded from her father to make the Bull of Heaven. She led the Bull of Heaven down to a village where it killed and slaughtered people. Gilgamesh and Enkidu went off to confront the bull and kill it. Ishtar demanded one of the two’s life be forfeit and Enkidu was chosen. With that, Enkidu paid the price.

But Enkidu’s death only revealed what he truly was. Some say he was chains that were meant to bring Gilgamesh back up to the heavens. However, his friendship with Gilgamesh thus changed that and he began to rebel against the gods similarly to Gilgamesh.
