Strategy

  • His notoriety as a caster stems from his Skill composition which consists of 1 self-buff and 2 support buffs namely High-Speed Incantation, Elemental, and Philosopher’s Stone.
    • The downside however is that his Skills has long Cooldown, and as thus making timing crucial.
  • The first Skill to enhance depends on the desired Paracelsus build. For NP-types, High-Speed Incantation is a must as it replenishes 55 of his NP even at default level.
    • On the other hand, those who prefer to chain Arts cards should consider Elemental.
  • Servants that pair well with Paracelsus often consist of those who carry Skills that shoulder or extend the effects cast by him.
    • First servant that comes to mind is Nero Claudius who appreciates the effect of Philosopher’s Stone. In addition, casting Elemental will provide a buff to her NP due to its Arts-typing.
    • Similar to Nero, Vlad III (Extra) will appreciate Philosopher’s Stone to increase his tanking ability. In return, he can learn Protection of Faith and alternate it with Innocent Monster to draw attacks away from Paracelsus.
    • Shuten Douji complements Paracelsus’ Elemental with her own Demonic Magic to buff the party’s ATK, this covers the party’s offensive requirement to raise their chance of scoring knock outs.
    • Another suitable partner is Robin Hood who carries the ATK debuff Sabotage. In tandem with Paracelsus’ NP, they can drastically weaken the enemies’ ATK, in the event that the NP gains overcharge.

Best Equipment

  • Formal Craft improve Arts Cards effectiveness substantially, making these types of chains more efficient in battle.
    • Others may find Projection as a decent alternative due to its low cost, or when first starting out.
  • For builds who prefer to generate NP through damage dealing, Divine Banquet is a solid choice.
  • Should you desire a higher damage output when unleashing his NP, Angel’s Song grants a decent boost.
