Max HP | 7907 | Max ATK | 6188 |
Strategy
- A servant that can double as a support and offense. To refill the NP efficiently, make sure to use his Arts Cards while providing buffs to both himself and the party.
- Edward Teach’s inherent skills consist of Voyager of the Storm and Pirate’s Honor. The former is more party-oriented and includes NP, while the latter only covers self buffs.
- Since his skill set consists of ATK buffs, it is easy to follow up with his Noble Phantasm which targets multiple enemies. In addition, given the C. Stars obtained after use, its effect lingers for the succeeding turn. This enables the party to finish off enemies with critical hits. If you account for its NP’s Overcharge, it should buy some time for the party to charge their NP before the enemies retaliate with their own.
- Amplify his Pirate’s Honor skill to increase its offense and reduce CT to 5. Once he finishes Strengthening Quest, he will acquire Gentleman’s Love. Its CT will not reduce until it becomes reinforced at level 6.
- Although it seems counter-intuitive at first, Chevalier d’Eon makes a great recipient as Edward Teach identifies him as her, allowing him to receive the maximum effects of Gentleman’s Love. With HP increased significantly, it extends his durability further.
- Altria Pendragon (Saber)’s Command Cards composition includes 2 Arts and 2 Buster, the former matches with Edward Teach’s 3 Arts count, while the latter is compatible with his NP-type. Apart from that, her NP is also Buster-type, making for a deadly combination when paired after receiving ATK buffs.
Best Equipment
- Limited/Zero Over raises the effectiveness of Buster Command Cards by 25~30% apart from the ATK boost. Focus on reinforcing this Craft Essence to quadruple the ATK.
- A decent alternative is Verdant Sound of Destruction which boosts Buster Card effectiveness by 15~20%.

Origins
A lot of people may not know the name Edward Teach. But they do know another name. The infamous name of that is Black Beard.
Subjugating the Carribean, he took over the seas and stalked any ships. He razed any incoming ships and indulged in alcohol and women. Edward Teach existed during the Age of Discovery and began his passage. Edward Teach would plunder incoming trade ships and take whatever he can. Why? Because he’s a pirate of course!
As Edward Teach made his way around the world, people began to fear him. Some say that the eyes of Edward Teach glimmered like the fires of hell itself. His black beard, covered with soot and the smell of cigars, struck fear to those who caught a whiff. However, that soon came to an end due to an ambush. Despite it, Edward Teach resolved to fight and put them down. After receiving 5 gunshots and 12 slash wounds, he finally collapsed while reloading a gun.
Thus, the tale of Black Bead (Edward Teach) ends.
