Origins
Karna, originally named Vasusena, one of the central characters in the Hindu epic Mahābhārata. He is a famed warrior in all Hinduism. This hero is the only one to have conquered all the kings to unite the entire kingdom. Karna is described to be the king of Anga. Through the epic, many say he is the only one to defeat Arjuna in battle.
Among the many heroes in epics, he single-handedly successfully conducted Digvijaya Yatra. This is a campaign in which he defeated all the kings in the world. Upon doing so, it established Duryodhana as the emperor of the world. After doing so, he was able to conduct the Vaishnava sacrifice. Karna was equal to 2 Maharatha warriors.
