Origins
Miyamoto Musashi is a talented swordswoman who existed during the Edo Period. Miyamoto was born and lived in Mimasaka where her father was a practitioner of martial arts named Shinmen Munisai. Her father served as an instructor of martial arts to the Shinmen House of lords of the Takayama Castle. Her father then received the name of Shinmen from his employer’s family. Shinmen Munisai built a dojo of jutte techniques in the Miyamoto village of the Yoshino district. With that, Musashi would later call herself “Miyamoto” as it became her hometown.
However, not many people are sure that her legends are true. But many people believed that because of her talent in swordsmanship, many would quake in fear of her name. While she often appears light-hearted to the point of looking lazy, she doesn’t look down her opponents. She has confidence in her own skill and loves enjoying life. Miyamoto also loves the concept of free food and alcohol but also loves brawling when she can.
