Strategy
- Mordred acquires 2 notable Skills. First of which is Secret of Pedigree which buffs DEF and raises NP gain. Second is Mana Burst which helps when chaining Buster Cards. In this case, since her NP shares the same card type, it is best to time it during a Buster Brave Chain.
- It is recommended to raise the Skill level of Secret of Pedigree to raise the Buff’s effects while lowering Cooldown.
- Compatible servants to pair with Mordred include those that have Skills that buff ATK and have complementary Card compositions that could chain with her NP.
- Jeanne d’Arc (Alter) and Elisabeth Bathory both provide support to raise Attack. They also share the same NP-type which adds to the Buster Chain.
- By raising Mysterious Heroine X (Alter)’s Bond level to 10, she acquires the Dark Knight-kun Craft Essence. With this equipped, she can pass the effects to her allies to further improve damage dealt against Saber class enemies. Adding her NP’s overcharge to the mix, Mordred can tear through Saber enemies with ease.
- As a Berserker class servant, Nightingale can deal with multiple classes while leaving the Lancer class enemies to Mordred. They have great synergy since they share Skills that tend to promote effectiveness of Buster Cards.
Best Equipment
- The Black Grail complements Mordred’s Secret of Pedigree. As she approaches near Max NP, she can easily fill it up using the Skill then follow up with NP. By triggering Overcharge, Mordred can plummet enemies by cycling chains with NP charges.
- Dragon’s Meridian serves to jump-start Mordred’s NP. By reaching the max Limit Breakthrough, it offers up to 50% starting NP that when stacked with the proper tools such as Mystic Code, and Secret of Pedigree can easily activate her NP.

Origins
Mordred, a homonculus, swore vengeance against her father.
Born from Morgan Le Fay’s magic, Mordred emulates everything her father is. Fighting style, her beauty, everything – because she is the complete copy of King Arthur, she knows every one of her moves. While she became a knight of the round table, she also is the one who put an end to that legend. She led her army onto the battle of Camlann before managing to defeat her father.
Because she is a homonculus, she grew up quickly. But being a homonculus meant that she had a short lifespan. Perhaps, it was what fuelled her desire to be recognized by King Arthur. She begged and did everything she could to earn her father’s affection only to be rejected. It’s quite easy to deal with her. Do not speak about King Arthur and stay completely focused on her.
